Love Like God…
With Complete Compassion

As we read through the pages of God's word, we are reminded over and over of God's loving care for all of us. When Jesus learned of the death of His dear friend Lazarus, He was deeply moved, so much so that He wept. It is wonderful to note that although Jesus was busy ministering to great crowds of people, He always had time to care for the needs of one individual. We believe that if we are to "Love Like God" we must show compassion to each and every individual. Just as Jesus brought hope into a hopeless situation, we too can, with God's help, bring a fresh ray of hope into the lives of countless individuals. Whether it is a physical need, spiritual or emotional, God cares, and so do we!

Without Boundaries

You can learn a lot about a person by reading his biography. God left us with His biography, the Bible, and its pages certainly reveal the heart of the Savior. One characteristic that stands out is His ability to love each individual without regard to their gender, race, social standing, wealth or lifestyle. His eyes of love look into the heart and soul of people. His greatest desire is to fill people with His love. Here at Stealey Assembly our focus is not on the outer appearance but rather our concern is to effectively minister to the needs that lie in the heart and soul of every man, woman, and child. Let's work together and discover the uniqueness God has placed in each of us!

Love Like God…
In Total Surrender

God's Word teaches us that we were created with the very purpose of worshipping God. Today, more than ever before, there are countless styles of worship, as well as a wide range of music and artists. Regardless of your personal taste, you're certain to find a worship style that resonates with you. True worship, however, goes beyond the instruments and the accompanying voices. "So then, my friends, because of God's great mercy to us…offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to His service and pleasing to Him. This is the true worship that you should offer." True worship is about giving ourselves completely to God. As we learn about God's enormous love and the total sacrifice that He made for each of us, our desire to surrender all to Him will begin to grow. "God proves His love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us." May our worship always be vibrate and engaging, but above all may our worship be birthed out of hearts that are in total surrender to Him.

Love Like God…
RADICALLY!

Jesus was a radical! While those around Him were filled with hatred, He was busy spreading the message of God's love. To the hopeless, He offered hope, through Him the broken were healed, and while the religion of the day focused on the external, He firmly declared that it's what is on the inside that really counts. Focusing on the fundamental truths of God's Word is essential as we strive to become everything God has called us to be. While Jesus' message was not always popular, the truth of His words changed the lives of many people, and continues to do so today. Together, we too can change the lives of individuals with the truth of God's love. The hopeless can find hope. The broken can finally embrace the healing they have longed for. Freedom can come at long last to those who have been bound far too long. With God's help, we can impact the world, one individual at a time. Let's commit to share the love of God with hearts that are totally, radically, committed to Him. Once we do, we will truly learn what it means to "Love Like God."
